In your world, running around and "calling people out" for their opinion is acceptable. For some, that is not acceptable.

It's ok to disagree, but "calling people out?" Don't you think that is a little more than disagreeing or having a different opinion?

Some potential inconsistencies in a previous thought. So it's passive-aggressive to leave and come back, but then you encourage people to leave and come back?

Ah, you're one of the many who don't know the difference between a fact and an opinion.

You can have any opinion you like. Some opinions are still wrong, but that's a more complex area.

You can still mess up the facts within an opinion, though. I'll use an example from this morning. If someone says McClellan was a terrible general, then that's an opinion. If someone says he's a terrible general because he got his ass kicked in every battle, then we have an incorrect interpretation of the facts. If someone says he's a terrible general because he lost at Gettysburg, then we have an incorrect fact.

You are generally guilty of the last example, and that's why you get called out.

    That's not what I said.

Possibly not. Some people have many definitions for passive-aggressive. Some think if you walk away from any fights and then fight some later, you're p-a.

When I get a fact wrong, do I admit that I had the fact wrong. I'm pretty sure that 99 percent of the time I do, if not 100 percent.

With you, it's the interpretation of the facts that bothers you so much. If a person looks at them differently, you have a hard time accepting that. Many people look at a different interpretation as their opinion and acceptable. You, and a few others, attack their opinion like they just called you a liar.

Masterful on your part here. You make some crazy claim about admitting your mistakes, and if I call you on it, then you can say your second claim is correct.

    Very good.

That wasn't what I was saying at all. You completely missed the point.

This also achieves a notably high level of "untrue".

I'd like the second question to be buffet style, because I'd pick items from each of the choices.
