Piven is good, but everytime I see him I can't help remember when he was bald. Hell, he was the TV version of George Costanza in the "Pilot" epsiode of Seinfeld (among other things)!

There will never be a better line on this show, perhaps on any show, than Mrs. Gold proclaiming her indignation at Mr. Gold working on the high holidays: "Jesus Christ! This is Yom Kippur!"

Piven's always tremendous. He and Drama carry that show, heavy emphasis on the Piven.

Also, I'm with ya on the best ever Entourage/Sopranos combo. It wasn't the best episode of each show, but as far as one night, it's never been better.

If it's not his hair, it's a top-notch job. You wouldn't even notice if you didn't already know.
    Good investment.

  5. Anybody else believe we might soon see the end of "Entourage" and someday see a spinoff called "Ari Gold"? It might be interesting to see what he could do with more diverse clients and less of the Vince story line ..

I think Adrian Grenier's acting gets some unfair knocks because he's a pretty boy.

I think the guy can act pretty good, actually.

  7. Adam Goldberg was excellent ...

He had one of the best scenes in SPR.
