Prince is a shithot guitarist as this clip certainly proves. Doesn't play like this anywhere near enough for me.

I kept Prince off my list because he hasn't done enough rock. Same for Stevie Ray Vaughn. Both are top-10 locks otherwise.

An actual oversight. Tom Morello kicks Duane Allman's smelly stoner ass.

That's the dumbest thing you've ever said.

Like Michael Stipe says, everybody smells some times.

Duane Allman was going to play something as awesome as Tom Morello's live solo on "The Ghost of Tom Joad," but then he got high instead.

He might be the best speed/thrash/groove metal guitarist, though Dave Mustaine has a solid argument.

In which Prince, ironically, rips Eric Clapton's solo.

Great to see Dhani Harrison beaming like crazy during this clip. He's practically jumping up and down.

Did anyone else think it was really self indulgent on the part of Prince? He basically walked over everyone else on stage to put himself in the spotlight. The solo was good, but if it was meant to be about George Harrison, it was the wrong time and place to suddenly show off that he could play guitar. Am I wrong on this?
