I consider it a matter of basic courtesy. Some people don't like to be touched. Period. Mrs. Wallace doesn't need a collegial backslap by anyone who isn't Mr. Wallace, and Mr. Wallace doesn't need one by another guy, either.

Keep your hands to yourself. It's one of the first things they cover in nursery school.

Lose the condescending crap, and it's a done deal.

It's a valid question, jg. It was written for the prurient interests of the public, the lowest common denominator. We do a lot of that. See Spears, Brittney.

She apparently gave White a hug and a peck on the cheek after a postgame interview last year.

  6. FWIW, last night I got together with my brother, a big Chicago baseball fan.

Among the first things he said to me once we sat down to dinner: "Did you hear about Erin Andrews???"

    Fascinating thread, still.

At this point, I'm wondering only one thing: How the writer said biceps and how the sportscaster said hand.

I think we should split the difference and just say she touched his forearm.

This sounds like much ado and 20 pages about nothing... The writer of the original article sounded catty.

Looks matter in television? My, I am shocked.

Let's get real. Hondo, how many people do you personnally know who have been accused of sexual harrassment? And if it were up to people whom you would vote for, workers would have fewer rights than they do under the current right-wing tools.

Speaking of inappropriately dressed sideline reporters named Erin ... anybody see Erin Bates at the X Games?

Tank top and mini-skirt on Saturday. Halter top and mini on Sunday. Sure, it was hot and it was the X Games, but it was a bit too much (or, rather, too little).
