Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by hondo, Jul 31, 2008.

  1. That's true for you and me Shot and most of us in the biz. But not for Erin Andrews and some of the bigger name talking head celebs.

Then the line between journalism and entertainment is blurred to an unhealthy degree.

So you need to be a big enough boy to write about a representative of the World Wide Leader acting in a manner that comes close to crossing the line of professionalism?
    Bullshit.

So if this generating all kinds of reaction on radio and TV, we should ignore it because, hey, we're above it all?

Like newspapers need more reasons to be irrelevant.

  7. So was it my imagination tonight or did ESPN never show Andrews below, roughly, the neck during the Yanks-Rangers game?

Was it just me, or did it seem like ESPN was really pimping her tonight? Notice all the wisecracks about fashion, in particular the fascination with O'Brien's tie.

Oh, no doubt about it. That's exactly what I thought.

  12. One could only hope.

I saw the game in a bar, and the sound wasn't up, so I haven't a clue what they were talking about. Which is just as well, I guess.
