Escape Rooms

I was at a banquet this summer where they played a game by bringing clue envelopes around to the tables. Each time you got one thing right, you were handed another envelope. My table blew through the first four without any problems. I asked how many more there were and was told 10.
"I'm out."

 

My boss is great at coming up with bad ideas, so I could totally see her having us do this as a team-building exercise before the start of a semester. I'm claustrophobic, so I'm gonna nope the hell out of that event.

 

My daughter, then nine years old, went to a birthday party in an escape room in October 2021. I was surprised they a.) had parties for kids and b.) that anyone wanted to have such a party in the midst of a pandemic. My daughter wore a mask throughout, most kids didn't. It wasn't a superspreader so YOLO.
