Oh, geez, almost two full pages of this and no Bob Ley mention. He's one of the all-timers.

    Ley.

    Mayne is criminally underused.

    PTI.

    Breen.

    That's it.

I love Tom Jackson. Merril Hoge is OK, as well.

Brad Nessler is good for play-by-play.

As far as highlights go, I like John Buccigross and that Asian guy from ESPNNews (unsure of his name).

Oh yeah, and I have a huge crush on Dana Jacobsen from Cold Pizza.

Though he sucked at announcing soccer. At least Dave O'Brien is continuing that tradition.

Rob Neyer. Great writer, even greater person.

Chris Fowler is great hosting tennis. Either he really loves the sport, or he sells it masterfully. I kind of hope it's the latter, because that's the sign of a true professional in sports media.

In fact, ESPN's entire tennis crew is pretty damn good (and I only watch the majors).

Met Jeremy Schaap once when he came up here to talk to my boss when he was working the Mike Danton story.

Seemed to be a great guy and answered loads of my questions about his dad...

Greg Garber, I know he doesn't get a lot of face time, but I've hung with him twice and you won't find a better, nicer guy.

Steve Cyphers, Chris Fowler, Dave Barnett, Bob Davie. Big thumbs up for all.
