ESPN is at rock bottom...

Boy do I want to see Richard Deitsch or somebody ask that question and get an actual answer.

Stepin Fetchit had self awareness, this clown doesn't

Alma, my friends said this isn't about authenticity or identity. That's something an ill-informed poster, who isn't African-American and probably doesn't associate or befriend African-Americans on a daily basis, put out there. Rob Parker, who is my friend as has been documented many times, made a dumb ass statement. That assessment doesn't require much thought or analyzing.
It is my hope that he learns from this. I also hope that ESPN learns from this too. In an effort to remain relevant, they are becoming a joke. From Lynn Hoppes' plagiarism to Jalen Rose charges against Skip Bayless to Stephen A. Smith using the N-Word, ESPN has, in my opinion, lost its focus.

Parker questioned RGIII's authenticity. How is this not about authenticity?

I don't understand why some people insist on squeezing a rock and praying for water.

You really expect a straight answer? Drip is just being drip, and his ever expanding survey group is likely fictional.

Of course it was about the authenticity crap. It was just an astonishingly stupid, offensive and inappropriate case of questioning authenticity.

It's a stupid assed question. RGIII doesn't have to authenticate who he is and what he is is. If you spend your time worrying about foolishness like that, it pretty much explains many of your posts.

I don't spend time worrying about it. But, apparently Rob Parker does, because that is the nonsense that he was talking about. Follow along, Drip.

You follow along and keep up Stoney. Rob said that shit because he's paid to say shit like that. He's a talking head and he's got people like you feeding into it. Rob isn't a racist. He's a pretty bright and witty guy actually. Unfortunately, he made a mistake and he's paying for it.
But I think there is a bigger problem here and that's ESPN. Its whole focus has shifted. I pointed out some examples. It's very sad and discouraging to see.

For a supposedly "bright and witty guy", he has a remarkably consistent knack for coming across as a buffoon, in both his words and his writing. He may be a very nice guy, I don't know, but I've never seen the slightest shred of evidence of "bright" from him.

But whatever. If you say so.

Of course it's about authenticity and/or identity.

How do you know the race of the "ill-informed poster" or the race of who he associates with on a daily basis? Has he ever disclosed his race? If it helps, I'm white. What are you Drip?

And, of course, I'm shocked that Drip/Zelig is friends with Parker. Drip is friends with so many people. Just once, I'd like someone to say they are friends with Drip. I mean, your not really friends unless both parties agree on the subject. And, all I ever see is Drip proclaiming famous folks as his friends.

ESPN has apparently told its employees not to tweet about sports....until Sunday.

    Gee, I wonder why Sunday?
