I got the worst foot blisters in my life -- the size of Montana, each foot -- after romping around D.C. with Mikey one night. We darted across the interstate at 2 a.m. Not sure what we were thinking.

Also met BYH at spnited's funeral; in a way I met spnited that day too.

Met moddy and playthrough (though could have been another moderator) at the washed-out Nats game when Johnson went for 300.

Had a mini-outing in NYC with 3 folks from Funny Farm 2.0.

And I probably know several others here one way or the other.

That was a touchingly weird day. Songbird & I remembered we'd argued about something on the boards, but neither one of us could remember what. That seemed appropriate as we gathered at spnited's wake.

Yep, Flying Headbutt. We all waited out the rain storm in the pavilion sharing nachos and beverages.

Then Mikey and I trolloped around DC for 5 hours. Then I got on the train and went back to Trenton.

Strange 24 hours.

 

I was supposed to go down there too for Johnsons 300th but I was sick. I figured, ahh, I'll just see the next 300-game winner. Sixty-three wins to go, CC.
