Maybe getting a day off. God the field looks awful.

  2. Really hoping Germany wins this one. I despise Ronaldo.

Wow. That has to be on target from that close. It's a tough height, but you have to do better.

Oh dreadful defending by Portugal there.

God, Schweinsteiger's haircut is so German.

Great interplay down the touchline to set up the goal. I don't think it was as much bad defending as great attacking. The Portuguese could have read where it was going, but the execution was tremendous.

Thanks for showing up, Portugal. It's now 2-0.

What was I saying about crosses into the box? Ronaldo may have been the guy who was meant to be marking him, but why have you got Ronaldo marking Klose at a set-piece?

    Where are the centerbacks?

Andy Gray dead on, as usual: I've got to say, it was the golden boy of Portugese football who was responsible here.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell, no.

But it's over when the Germans bombed Portugal for two goals in the first 25 minutes.

And as I just said, why the hell is an attacking midfielder defending Germany's main threat in the air?
