    Two of the three most impressive teams in group play are gone -- Netherlands and Portugal. Spain plays tomorrow against Italy. It's not how you start, it's how you finish.

    Holland were better as an underdog. They played like a favorite, which isn't a good idea in this tournament.

    Didn't they flash a stat in the first half that no team has gone 3-0 in the first stage and won the tournament since 1984? or 1988?

    I think it would have to be 1984, Holland lost to the Soviets in their opening game of '88.
