They've done a number on Arshavin. He's disappeared today.

Absolutely, although I don't think he had the freedom to do what he did on Saturday thanks to Hiidink putting added defensive responsibility on him.

I have been really impressed with Spain's defense, which is usually its downfall in most games. They have really shut down Russia. And the Russian's have not played very aggressive offensively.

True, but at some point, I thought he'd freelance up the field into more space.

Great matchup for the final. I think it's finally Spain's time.
And, hopefully, we get Andy Gray one last time.

Three really nice goals by Spain. It matches up two really good teams in the final -- Germany vs. Spain on Sunday. It should be a quality game. At least I hope so. I think Spain is playing very well right now and will beat Germany 2-1. But it is a toss up.

Healey mentioned that it would be him and Gray for the final, thankfully.

Those two have been great the entire tournament. Thank goodness we will hear them one last time on Sunday.

ESPN should make them lead announcers for UCL.

My sister asked if "Shrek" was announcing the game.

I'm ashamed to say I only knew Gray through his work on "Fifa 08" soccer. ("There are better players at his position, but not many.")

I like it when he says a particular play or shot was "purr" (poor).

I already told you to cram it. Now fetch me a beer, newbie. :p

By the way, I realized I was still technically correct. Spain didn't beat Italy. They drew. The shootout only decides who advances. So, um, yea. That's it.

Now, though, I must cheer for them to win it all, because no good English supporter can ever cheer for Germany.
