    I understand sticking up for your friends. But if I was in that situation, I would only ask that a person's behavior be examined in full. Is this a one-time thing? Does the person have a reputation for behaving badly? We've all done things that someone can rightfully take offense. I'm not excusing anyone - but how many times have we seen one person have no problem being critical of someone they have no connection to, but then ask for deeper consideration when it involves a friend? Does anyone want to be judged only by their worst moment?
