Honestly, a point-shaving deal would be welcomed by Roger Goodell and the owners at this point.

    No, never heard of that.

What I'm referring to is the falling out between the creator of DDD and GF. Food Network backed GF.

Steve Edwards, a local La morning TV host for decades, is the next to come on down.

Steve Edwards Fired Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

Every top 50 TV Market has a Steve Edwards, an absolutely forgettable schmuck who lucked into a local TV gig and keeps it for decades. I have watched him age through the years and every 5 years or so they replaced the woman co-host for another younger version.

    Edit
Good God, that US Weekly story says nothing about Steve Edwards. Here's a better one.

Never understood how a medium that relies so much on "the visual" could keep so many old, unappealing men on the air for as long as they do. And it isn't like Edwards has "gravitas" or lends credibility to the junk news they peddle on that show.

How in the hell am I not going to make a jump into a top 20 anchor chair in the next year once this all shakes out in the TV news industry?

Wow. Grew up watching Steve Edwards. If you're a decent-looking guy who can successfully blend smooth and bland, you can work 50 years in the TV business.
