It's always about sex than it is power.

    Nobody should ever be surprised.

Having a modicum of power helps but the underlying motive is sex and will be forevermore.

I'm glad to hear Dumb People Town will continue uninterrupted. My wife and I enjoy the tales of stupidity on long drives.

Just a check before racing off to conclusions; I'm inclined to believe accusers because I recognize how hard it is to make a complaint. Even so, a $24,000 settlement is very small (although I'd love to hand me a check for $24,000) in litigation. Given the costs of litigating a claim, the $24k is just over nuisance level.

    Jeff Passan on Sano:

This was a perfect example of that terrible decision-making, because while Sano might have a lot of things, the utmost respect for women is not one of them, according to five people, including teammates, ex-teammates and confidants, with whom he has spent time. Though none accused Sano of sexual assault or could confirm Bissen’s account of the story, they characterized him as someone who saw the pursuit of women as sport. Getting in trouble for it “was only a matter of time,” said one person familiar with Sano, whom he called “a ticking time bomb.”
