Or for congress to spend more time on Benghazi than 9/11. But that is the world the first female nominee from a major party faces.

Agreed. But a lot of those are the ones I was referring to as picking between the lesser of two evils. Plenty of prominent Republicans have acknowledged Trump is far from the preferred candidate, but short of nuking the entire party and its nomination process he's the one they have (and the one they deserve).
There's not nearly as many Democrats saying the same about Hillary. At least not publicly.
