"Clymer wrote that Kennedy "worked with" Hillary Clinton to get White House support for a Senate measure to grant $24 billion for the new program, rather than the $16 billion approved by the House. "With strong administration support, the $24 billion stayed in," he wrote. Then, when the bill finally passed, Kennedy "credited the President, the First Lady, [Senate Democratic Leader Tom] Daschle, Marian Wright Edelman, head of the Children’s Defense Fun, and Hatch. …"

BTW: Hillary also was First Lady in 1993. Did she draw up or vote on the Health Security Act? Nope. But she sure as shit got blamed for its failure.

I don't think house Republicans thought this through. Instead of grandstanding, they are just having the FBI director painstakingly debunk most of their talking points.

How so? Seems to me their only goal is proving once and for all that she's a liar.

So far, he has explained why carelessness and gross negligence aren't the same legally, that he doesn't believe she was aware of the deletions, and all the reasons Petraeus was significantly worse.

Yes, the Petraeus stuff was good, but anyone who wants to will just ignore it.

More Comey goodness: *None* of the classified info was marked, and it would be "reasonable" for the people involved to assume the unmarked information was unclassified.

I thought the other day he said that some of it was marked? He said there were seven email chains, or something like that.
