As we move to day 2 I urge everyone to exhibit caution and refrain from speculation. Let the experts
do their job. This is still a fluid situation. If you are traveling today call ahead to your airline.

Reading where London and Cleveland marathons are on big security alerts. London = good idea. It's a huge international event. Cleveland = uhhh, I don't think there is a mad marathon bomber on the loose.

At what point is the "background checks crowd" going to start pushing for background checks of every person we allow into this country of Arabic descent?

Any of them who have mental issues, ties to any Islamic group, ties to any violent events should not be allowed in.

Thank GOD she was able to finish the race. Whew!! I hope she has the strength and courage to go out and buy another 26.2 sticker for her vehicle.

Do you really believe that the good outnumbers the bad?

If that was true, this country wouldn't be so fucked up

  6. If you really think this country is so fucked up you should get out more. Travel.
    It's not anarchy.

Ever hear of the government watch list?

  8. Did you get injured by a bomb when you've left the house recently? Only time I've been physically threatened as an adult was working on the job as a news reporter. If the bad outnumbered the good, you'd have to think I would have run into trouble at some other point.

I would say 99 percent of people are good. Just because people disagree about what is good, that does not make one half bad.

Now, if you are trying to maim, hurt or steal, then you are bad, but that is a low, low number.

Zag, the visa process for foreigners seeking to travel to the U.S. is quite a background check, and its for every country requiring a visa.
