The board anarchist, the guy who essentially thinks he should be able to walk into the mall and start waving around an AK-47 with impunity, wants to institute draconian background checks on travelers.

    That's rich.

    Requirements placed on non-citizens wouldn't violate a Libertarian's philosophy.

Which is Exhibit A of what a miserable philosophy it really is.

In this just-concluded PC, they said none of the injured are suspects.

You think the United States, or any Western country, is "full" of bad people, go hang out somewhere that really is dangerous for a while.

Look, three people got killed in Boston yesterday, and that's horrific. But 27 people got killed in bomb blasts in Baghdad yesterday, and I doubt it made 95% of American (or any other Western) newspapers. And I'd wager decent money at least one of those 27 was a child, just like Martin.

Your country is simply not fucked up. There are probably very few places on EARTH where you are, statistically speaking, less likely to be directly affected by terrorism, even with 9/11 taken into account. Seriously. When was the last time, before yesterday, that anyone was killed by a bomb on the streets of Boston?

And I'd wager that you can count on one hand the number of countries in the world where the bad truly outnumber the good. The world's only as horrible as you want it to be.

    The Vatican.

    What are the four others?

Somalia might be in the mix. But even that might be a stretch.

So no unexploded devices were found, contrary to early reports yesterday?

Does that include the one the cops reportedly detonated themselves?

The governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick, said it was "important to clarify that two, and only two, explosive devices were found yesterday".

When you are right 53 percent of the time, that means you are wrong 47 percent of the time.
