Well let's see -- 56 percent of the executions in this country since 1976 have been white people while only 35 percent of the people who have been executed are black.

This despite the fact that the number of people on death row has been about even between the races (43 percent white, 41 percent black)....

So once again, white people on death row get the needle at a much higher rate than black people on death row do.

But I'm sure you knew that already......

No one brought any of that shit up on this forum before you baited people into talking about it.

Yeah, I know that is a very similar tale to, you know, the average death row inmate who goes about 15 years between sentencing and execution.

I mean, 15 years, six years, what's the difference.....

It is ridiculous that about 25 percent of those on death row die of natural causes and never make it to the chair

But if we were talking about a gun violence incident -- all of that shit WOULD be brought up as solutions to the problem. So we should be talking about making sure that something like this can never happen again."

Meaningfully, they all also drop their appeals, like McVeigh did.

Although I disagree with him, it is perfectly reasonable for Zag to bring up policy considerations on a thread about this event.

I'm just waiting for a mod to come clean it up before proceeding.

The main troll I see is the poster with the appropriate little green man (I know it's The Hulk) as his avatar.

It's the worst when we don't get to kill them ourselves.
