And now we wait for Misha to appear to move the story along.

Honestly, isn't this kind of reporting just insulting to consumers of news?

It's like the media does not trust us enough to tell us the truth.

But, when they avoid the obvious, it calls into question the rest of their reporting. We know they're leaving out info in this case. In what other instances are they leaving out pertinent info?

Maybe the media should have some respect for their customers.

This quote highlights the need for the curtain to be taken down and political correctness towards muslims needs to end. In past few years no group has been treated with more reverence by the liberal media and has done so little to earn it.

The handling of the "religion" angle thus far has been a joke. News consumers have been following this story closely, so YF is right. The media being purposefully vague just insults the readers' intelligence. And further chips away at its credibility.

If it turned out to be a Tea Party member protesting taxes a new record would have been set for the amount of times the phrase "member of the Tea Party" was written and spoken by the liberal media.

We saw the exact same thing after the attempted bombing in Times Square.

First, we had folks hoping it would be a "white guy" and had Mayor Bloomberg suggesting it could be someone upset with the healthcare bill.

Then, when it turned out to be a Muslim, folks were frantically speculating that his motive may have simply been related to his financial situation.

But, of course it was another example of a Muslim who became more radical, as he became more religious.

Then I read something like this:

Well, who but a radical Islamist would allow anger over issues such as these to lead him to bombing innocent people?

I've heard it reported that he was upset about Iraq and Afghanistan. So what. Buckweaver is upset about Iraq and Afghanistan. He hasn't planted bombs as a result.

Wow, The NYT has dropped the pretense:

Boston Suspect Cites Islamic Extremist Beliefs as Motive
By KATHARINE Q. SEELYE, MICHAEL S. SCHMIDT and WILLIAM K. RASHBAUM
    Published: April 23, 2013

BOSTON — The surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon attacks told federal agents that he and his brother were motivated by extremist Islamic beliefs but that they were not connected to any known terrorist groups, law enforcement officials said on Tuesday, saying that he made those statements in an interview Sunday from his hospital bed.

Really makes AP look silly now.

Interesting. I'd want to hear the wife's take on this. Did she know that her husband was a terrorist?

Transcript of T2 Bedside hearing. Pretty interesting read.
