I believe the term is 60's.

And, I think you are mostly right. Obviously, the percentage of Muslims blowing up bombs is extremely low, even among folks who have recently embraced their Muslim roots, or converted to Islam.

But, the more religious you become, the more you will be exposed to call to Jihad. I don't think we can deny that.

If Tamerlan had embraced bird watching, or portrait photography, I don't think he would have been driven to terrorism.

Even as the moderate Muslim that he was, I don't think he would have decided to plant a bomb.

But, when he embraced Islam, and became more religious, he surely became exposed to more calls to Jihad. (And, his Chechen ties shouldn't be ignored either.)

LOLZ. If you, YOU of all people, are going to correct someone's grammar/style, at least be correct.

    It's '60s.

    This all seems fairly irrefutable.

    Now who is denying it?

It's a joke. That's how Boom has been writing it, and it set Captain Oblivious off earlier.

If you embrace Islam you are embracing the Quran which promotes jhad and violence against infidels.

I'd say nearly everyone, including you.

The media is constantly shocked that Islam could be a motivating factor for terror. To be sure, it is a "radical" interpretation of it, but those motivations are there. Folks who embrace the religion will be exposed to it.

    As for you, you said:

    and:

But, again, Tamerlan didn't turn to "radical" Islam. His first step was to embrace plain old Islam. That's what led to "radical" Islam and eventually terrorism.

He might have been a "disaffected" loser. But, terror wasn't his immediate response.

No problem. I figure you'd appreciate it, rather than call me out on it as a mistake.

And, while you're right that my typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc. are all terrible, I do try to avoid criticizing others.

I know I have a log in my eye.

They should send #1's brain to BU. I think he suffered from CTE from his boxing days.

Unless you reject that part, which 99.9+% of Muslims do --- just like Christians reject the stupid shit like this in the Bible: "For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him."
