I get the sense that's not a real cover.

    No sign of "Misha" yet.

    Anyone think he exists?

So, what's all this about a potential attack on New York?

Best I can tell, the bomber was unable to talk at first, as he was sedated, and had a machine breathing for him.

Then he was questioned, and was able to respond mostly with nods and shakes of the head.

As the feds were interviewing him, a Judge, accompanied by a federal prosecutor, and a couple of defense attorneys, showed up.

He was read his rights, and appointed an attorney.

And, in this hearing, he was barely able to talk, saying only "no".

Now, the NYPD Commissioner says in, “a subsequent questioning of Dzhokhar revealed that he and his brother decided spontaneously on Times Square as a target.”

In what "subsequent questioning"? By all accounts, he has clammed up since he was appointed an attorney. So, when was this "subsequent questioning"? Before he was told of his rights?

Well, then why didn't this come out earlier?

And, who is briefing the Mayor and Police Commissioner of New York?

And, what's the evidence for the claim that they had another pressure cooker bomb, let alone pipe bombs?

They allegedly threw the other pressure cooker bomb at the cops. Along with some pipe bombs.

    Yeah, I've heard that.

But, there's not one injury as a result of these bombs, and I haven't seen a single photo showing damaged caused by these bombs.

    So, is it true?

The reports that the younger brother fired on cops turned out to be false.

I think a lot of this story may be exaggerated as well.

The photos @AKitz took from his apartment and uploaded a day or two ago showed burn marks on the road near the brothers' car. I believe he took them down at the request of the authorities since it's an "ongoing investigation."

And I don't know if it it's a case of exaggeration or a case of multiple media outlets working lots of sources - some with better info than others.

The Times just posted a bunch of them:

(And, btw, I'm not going full conspiracy theory on any of this, just think a lot of folks, like Bloomberg and other politicians who have received briefings, want to be involved in this story.)

Without knowing what the street looked like earlier, it's hard to know if any of the pockmarks on the street are due to bombs.

You can clearly see where the pressure cooker bomb went off. But it looked very small and harmless, probably because they screwed up. I saw the picture of the supposed damage the pressure cooker bomb made and thought, "Is that it?"

    Now, that's a hell of a story.

I'm having a hard tie believing this.

The bombs they set off at the marathon were powerful. One went off in Watertown, and no one got hurt from it?

    Really?
