    Now just read Suspect 1 died at hospital. So maybe he was naked and shot. No idea. Hopefully this all sorts itself out sooner rather than later.

    Or it will get sorted out when the police and FBI sort it out. Obviously, tons of moving parts. Lots of talk, lots of rumors, lots of people talking but not on the record in an official capacity and putting their names behind it.

    Until someone comes out in an official manner and explains everything, it's all just speculation.

    According to WCVB-TV, the Boston Police have confirmed Suspect 1 is dead & Suspect 2 on the run w/ rifle.

    FWIW, the fine folks at reddit believe that the naked guy was released - wrong place, wrong time sort of arrest.

    And Boston PD confirmed that Suspect 2 (white hat) is the guy on the loose. I think that's the first word from the Boston authorities confirming the marathon ties.

    WCVB.com reporting that Boston PD tweeting out Suspect #1 is dead, for what it's worth. It's intriguing to see the backlash - positive and negative - for Twitter right now. Like many have said, have to know who to follow. I think in these instances, with a massive "incident" like this or the bombing, people should identify sources. Just my opinion.

    CNN now reading press release from police. One suspect dead, one at large. Thus, naked guy is not a suspect and appears to have been in wrong place at wrong time. I suppose that means the CNN camera guy didn't get the big news and shouldn't be going in to ask for a raise tomorrow.

    Had been listening to the police scanner before the MIT cop was shot and I got to say, all of this sounded right out of a movie. I didn't move for close to five hours.
