I don't understand how this guy just walked back onto campus two days after committing his heinous act.

I've been watching MSNBC since 1 p.m. and as soon as Sharpton came on, I turned over to CNN. I'd rather watch the Onion's coverage of this than listen to Sharpton on anything, ever.

Did they finally keep the Infowars guy out of the press conference? I haven't heard him in this one.

I left MSNBC when Alex Wolf came on. What a dunce she is.

    Highly anecdotal, speculative post here.

I was talking to our head of corporate security who through his experience is pretty well qualified to comment on these things. Here was his take.

Chechnyans have one of the most violent cultures in the world. He has never met a more violent, hard culture of people and he has done security, counter terrorism work in the middle East. Basically if you are not Chechnyan you are garbage, can be killed, raped, etc.

His take is that these guys were definitely Ismlamic radicals as the MO fits. He doubted they were taking their marching orders from Al Qaeda, just Islamic radicals.

He says that there is absolutely no chance the other brother kills himself or is taken alive.

Also says that Putin is treating Chechnya how it needs to be treated as there is no bargaining with them.

Stopped at a restaurant to file a story ...

"Hey everyone here at Panera Bread ... who wants to see the dead bomber? No, no, it's not gross."

    :D

So apparently these kid didn't rob the 7-11 - they were just there when it was robbed and it's the world's biggest coincidence that they were on the video feed when it was reviewed by the cops. The guy who actually did rob the 7-11 is still at large.

That picture would compliment the new pasta and red sauce they are now offering
    at Panera.

    Cliche.

Getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time are plot points in Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Pulp Fiction and Boogie Nights to name a few. Do better bombers.
