    ABC News sticks with its
    headline of the past hour:

    EYEWITNESS REPORTS SUSPECT
MAY BE IN BOAT IN BACKYARD

I heard it over the scanner that he's in custody.

OK, now THAT'S something I can believe after the absolute abortion that has been going on by the TV folks this week.

There was lots and lots of cheering on scene. You could hear it on WBUR.

Geraldo just said, and I am not kidding, that these two are "the new face of Islamic terrorism in this country." WTF is he talking about?

Sounded to me more like a producer. It happened when NBC tried to cut to a local TV feed. They got the local video, but the audio sounded like two guys BSing in the control booth.

I felt glued to the scanner last night and when I got home this afternoon. Everything felt like it happened in a movie with how it unfolded. Gripping audio.

Well, thankfully it's over and we can get back to some normalcy -- and TV "journalists" can return to school to learn proper reporting techniques.
