Does anyone really think that Mosely is going to win this fight. It'll go the distance, unanimous decision for Floyd. Thoughts?

I don't think so. He's 38 and got beat by Winky Wright twice in his prime. No reason to think he will beat another guy who fights defensively but is a lot faster.

I don't really understand the love fest going on for Shane Mosely. You nailed it on the head, he's 38 and got beat by Winky Wright. And I definitely don't understand people willing to shell out $54.95 for this fight and a bad undercard.

Mosley had a glimmer of hope in the second round but Mayweather, for as much shit as you may or may not like in his boxing persona, is an amazing in-ring talent. He learns on the fly, he makes the most sound adjustments in the sport. He went from being damn near knocked out in the second round to not getting hit with anything remotely threatening in the final 10 rounds.

Mayweather is damn good. No doubting that. And I completely expected him to win. Did I want him to win? Nope. Mosley was more interested in making nice with Mayweather with all the touching of gloves and such. Too afraid to throw a freaking punch. And Mayweather made him pay. His jab was dominant and kept Mosley off-track all fight long. Just a dominating win.

The last bout on the undercard was pretty good. The Mexican dude, who looked Irish, can seriously fight, and he's only 19. He's gonna be good. Real good.

And, is there really any other fight left for Mayweather besides Pac? From what Mayweather said post-fight, he's not relenting on the testing issue, either. Not a bit.

I can think of one entertaining rematch possibility:

The public knows bullshit when it sees it, and demonstrates it, by degrees.

    Anyone see this tonight?

The fight was incredibly terrible. Even in the run-up to the flop out of the ring there was little action and a lot of booing. Probably one of the worst bouts I've seen.

It was just starting to heat up. I hope Cintron recovers and gets a rematch. Neither man really deserved to win the fight at the time when it ended.

Yeah. That fight was pretty weak and uneventful until the dude fell out of the ring. It looked like Williams was finally starting to control the action, or at least try to, when the shit hit the fan.

I'm really surprised Williams didn't get KTFO in the first three rounds. Every time he lunched with his left, Cintron was thisclose to blasting his head right off his shoulders with his right. Williams is damn lucky.

On different boxing message boards that I visit, fans seem to think Kermit Cintron was acting and that he dove out of the ring on purpose.
That doesn't make sense to me. It was fairly even, uneventful fight up to that point. I don't understand how or why Cintron could have been looking for a way out at that point.

Honestly, I thought the same thing at first. His fall was obviously unintentional, but once he was halfway out of the ring, it looked like he might have catapaulted himself the rest of the way. Perhaps he did it so he'd miss the TV monitor, who knows, but it's not crazy to think that. But yeah, doesn't make sense at all. He could have won that fight. Hell, one judge had him winning all four rounds.
