That right Floyd clipped him with when he had his back to the ropes showed he wasn't fucking around.

This reminded me of what the late, great Gil Clancy would say when one of his guys lost and said he wanted a rematch right away: "You just had him and couldn't beat him!"

We're 13 days away from the biggest fight in boxing since at least the first Fury-Wilder fight.

What a performance by Crawford. At some point in the middle of the fight, the question was less if he would win and more about if he could top what Inoue did earlier this week against Stephen Fulton.

    I think he did.

Definitely agree. I moved Bud to the top of my p4p list. Seen Bud and Errol live the last couple of years but this was another level from Bud. The fight of his life.

I always thought Crawford was likely the better fighter.

I had no idea how much better.

    Jesus.

I kind of thought the same. I always felt like I could never rank one ahead of the other at 147 or pound for pound until they fought each other.

Now there’s absolutely no question. The only other guy you could make a case for with the top pound for pound spot is Inoue. Both did great against top-level competition this week.

The other takeaway for me from last night is that Mark Davis has to be the ugliest person on the planet.

At first, I posted a photo of Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber."

Then I remembered that life can be stranger than fiction.

Crawford looked so much stronger. Every time he touched Spence it looked powerful.

I think Spence can recover. SAS is an idiot for suggesting he retire. This is living for these guys. I think he'll take 9-12 months off, move to 154, take some sort of softer touch comeback fight and then figure out his next step,

Crawford also said he was heading to 154. I believe he was promised a Charlo fight, but I'm sure Keith Thurman will try to jump in there. I don't see that one being super competitive.

Yeah, I know it's a Logan Paul fight. But whenever you see a guy go for a guillotine choke in a boxing match, followed by a miniature brawl that causes about 500 security guards to swarm the ring, you've got to acknowledge it.
Business picks up around the one-minute mark.
