Why do serious boxing writers waste their time covering this shit?

I always thought Showtime did a good job on the fights, aside from screaming Mauro Renallo. Shobox was a terrific series highlighting prospects.

The hard rumor is PBC taking their fights to Apple+ or Prime video.

Heard about this last week. Sounds like Haymon and PBC are already talking to Amazon Prime, Apple + and DAZN.

Agree that Mauro - who is a tremendously nice guy - has become a parody of a caricature of a satire.

    Like Diamante, he's unlistenable.

    Shame, though.

With SHO and HBO gone, it'll be amateur hour ringside for a while.

This was my first thought. Outside of PPV events, it's going to be nearly impossible to find any boxing on TV.

ESPN still puts on some of the Top Rank's guys like Telfimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson, etc. and ESPN+ actually has a lot of solid fights, especially the ones across the pond.

Given PBC roster with Crawford and Canelo (for now), they should find a streaming partner pretty easily.

Too bad, a sport that's already hard to find on TV will become even tougher and more outlets will be charging premium prices for lousy fights.

Good for ESPN/Top Rank to still be in the game but Tess and Bradley are a long, long way from Barry Tompkins and Al Bernstein, among others.

Tyson Fury's about to make his ring walk, and the Saudi crowd is like a who's who of everything.

Tyson. Holyfield. Sugar Ray Leonard. Ronaldo. Eminem. Kanye West. Pacquiao. Vince McMahon.

    The Undertaker, for god's sake.

Shoot, you fly me in - write me a check and put me in a five-star hotel for the weekend - I'd go too.
