The man is a brick house. Fury's definitely down on points through four.

That third-round knockdown should swing the decision to Ngannou. I have the feeling it will not.

    1st: 95-94, Ngannou.

    2nd: 96-93, Fury.

    3rd: 95-94: Fury.

    That should not have been.

I know zip about boxing - know the name Tyson Fury - but just watching the highlights would have thought the "champ" was the guy in better shape. Fury looked like a tomato can. Glad he cashed a check, but to not even put up the belt? What a joke.

He looks that way in every fight. In fact, he’s looked worse in a good number of them.

He’s just dumpy. But looks can be very deceiving.

Did Fury fight like he gave a shit?

I had it 95-94 Ngannou, would have been a draw without the knockdown. Tough fight to score because there were large periods where neither guy did anything. There was little of the classic Fury, he didn't move much and rarely followed with anything off his jab. He clearly didn't give a shit or see Ngannou as much of an opponent thought clearly he wasn't a guy who was the least bit overawed by the occasion. Big, strong dude who smartly countered Fury's move to southpaw by knocking his jab down with his own jab. He seemed to pace himself well, it was Fury who seemed to be running on fumes. I don't know if a lot of today's so-so heavies would chance a fight with him.

Credit to Ngannou for being a professional. He clearly worked very hard and put forth his best effort. And he got a large bag of money he doesn't have to share with Dana White and the rest of the UFC meatheads.

No question about that. He kind of reminded me a little of Mike Weaver, physically strong guy who could be tough to hit and packed a pretty good punch of his own. No idea how he'd do against a guy who moved a bit and really let his hands go, someone like Jared Anderson.

Very tired of these junk exhibitions.

And Fury was out of shape even for Fury.

54 days until the fight with Usyk?

    C'mon.

Agreed, if you're in shape for Ngannou, staying in shape for Usyk is no issue. But he looks like he's got a lot of work to do.

And was this classed as an exhibition? I always thought the heavyweight champion couldn't have non-title fights.

Fury's one belt would go to the winner, certainly, but this was a junk exhibition in exactly the same manner as Mayweather* v McGregor.
