Me too. Of the ESPN boxing guys Mulvaney isn't a third of the Pacquiao fanboi that Rafael is. His twitter is basically a shrine to Manny.

Mosley's run a pretty good race. Hasn't fought much of a fight, but he's run a hell of a race.

    Backwards.

Unanimous decision. No surprise -- other than it reached a decision.

The four Filipino dudes I work with all love them some Pacquiao.

It really is something to hear them talk about him.

Pacquiao is a very very very special young man in and out of the ring. His greatness combined with humility is awe-inspiring. You should read the book Pac Man by Gary Andrew Poole. Once lived in a cardboard shack with his family and had to share one bowl of rice among about six, as food supply was short. Yet he rose from those humble beginnings to become the BEST fighter on the planet. Duckweather is so fearful of being beaten up and knocked out by Pacquiao that he is hiding from a $50 million payday. Pacquiao is someone who exemplifies the beauty and excellence of sport.

Plus, Vitali vs Adamek in Poland on September 10, 2011.

Personally, I think Adamek is too little. I still want to see that fight.

The Klitschkos should be two of the biggest sports figures in the world right now, right up there with (pre-affair) Tiger and Messi and Nadal. Or at least a step below, like Larry Holmes in his day.

    That they're not is puzzling.

I absolutely empathize. It's frustrating to anyone who remembers heavyweight's glory era.

But you have to have opponents who can make it a holy war, perhaps somebody who will push them to the point where they have to pull out a knockout punch. And they don't. Mainly because they won't fight each other.

So, tonight Vitali Klitschko defends his WBC World Heavyweight Title against Tomasz Adamek in Poland. There will be over 40,000 people in attendance. Once again proving that despite what some would have you believe there are some people who care about the Klits.

And yet, I didn't hear one thing about it tonight.

And this comes from somebody who wishes everybody who likes MMA would commit to boxing.

    But it's not happening.
