The heavyweight division is based out of Germany these days. Has been for the past few years. The Klits drawing power extends beyond one country. It's not just Germany. It's the whole of Central and Eastern Europe for starters. Wlad/Haye was huge in the UK and, while the fight was nothing special, it certainly greatly helped the brothers profile in that country as well. I have no idea about Africa and Asia.

It's a shame that HBO and Showtime aren't showing the fight, but the world really is bigger than Amercia.

Until yesterday, I'd never even heard of Klitschko's challenger. A guy who, allegedly, is the top contender for (well, one of a dozen), heavyweight championship of the world.

Time was, people knew who all the champions were (because there were only a handful of them), and they knew who the contenders were. Now, you have 300 guys holding belts, and that's not counting the "Interim" ones, or the "Champions in Residence" or whatever crap that is.

Which is another reason why boxing is flopping so badly.

Even more laughable is the idea of a 108-pound boxing class. What are these guys, like 4'6"?

The lowest classes are some of the most entertaining. They lack the straight-up punching power, so it often leads to really bloody fights with tons of punches thrown.

Wlad works his brother's corner. During the ring introductions Chisora spat water in his face. Wlad looked liked he wanted to kill him.

You're really not getting it. If all America can get this fight on is some obscure HD station, the sport is in trouble.

The world may be bigger than America, but in this case, America makes the wheels turn.

Chisora, sociopath tomato can, takes Klitschko, the postmodern Primo Carnera, into the 7th.

    And into the 8th.

That's really it, Azrael. Well put, except they don't have the mob connections (or maybe they do?) who knew they were putting everyone on.

    The 9th.

Chisora's a bum, and he's got Klitschko flatfooted and panting. Into the 10th.
