Poor Mayweather says if he's not released from jail IMMEDIATELY, he may suffer irreversable damage to his physique that will not allow him to resume his boxing career when he gets out of jail for attacking one of his baby mamas in front of their kids.

    Poor Floyd.

With the thread-starter's permission, let me paraphrase their thread title as my response to this statement: F--- Floyd.

Bradley didn't judge the fight. Not his fault.
Unless the NSAC decides to change the outcome, there's no reason he should give back the belt.

They should take away any good behavior time off and keep him in for the maximum sentence for whining like that.

At least they're going through the motions of an investigation. I wonder if the judges will actually score the fight properly or will they try to somehow back what the original judges did.

No way in hell they overturn the result even if they all agree if was fixed. They can't afford the precedent it would set.

Wladimir Klitschko defends his titles against Tony Thompson tonight. It's a rematch of their 2008 fight which Wlad won by KO in the eleventh. Thompson didn't exactly cover himself in glory the first time around. He's not a bad fighter though and has since once again worked his his way up into the position of being Wlad's mandatory challenge. So, it's a fight Wlad has to take. It's not a fight that has me off the hook excited or anything but I'll be watching none the less.

The fight is being held in a stadium in Berne, Switzerland and 30,000 plus people should be in attendance.

Tyson Fury is also back in the ring tonight taking on Vinny Maddalone. I may not be sold on Tyson as an heir to The Klits but I would have no hesitation recommending his fights to someone. Tyson (a lot of times due to his own defensive frailties) tends to have fun fights.

He looked a lot better and controlled in his last fight against Martin Rogan. He used his size well. If that was indicative of a new Tyson Fury or not who knows. A hallmark of Tyson's fights previously has been him being six-nine but not using his size well and fighting like a retard. Martin Rogan is a guy who is teak fucking tough. He made a career out of being simply an expectationally tough muthafucker. He's also six inches shorter than Tyson. In spite of this I fully expected Tyson, like a retard, to engage in a toe to toe brawl with him. He didn't, and I found myself thinking, "Damn, Tyson, maybe you have some sense after all."

If Tyson loses we'll probably get to see a riot as I strongly suspect that his fans will wreck the joint.

Tyson's fight is actually airing live in the US on Wealth TV. It's not exactly network but, hey, it is airing. In the UK the fight is on network TV. Yes, almost unique among British boxers these-days Tyson has a network TV deal.

Tonight in Moscow Vitali Klitschko defends his WBC World Heavyweight Title against, the 21-0, Manuel Charr. It could be Vitali's last fight before heading off into the sunset. Well, maybe. David Haye, career invigorated after stopping Chisora in a fun fight back in July, is angling for a fight with Vitali. That would be a big, big fight. May not for the average dude in Bumblefuck, Iowa, but the world is bigger than US though and in the Germany and the UK and elsewhere it would be a big, big fight. I could see it happening. I could also just as easily see it not happening. Vitali is running for a seat in the Ukrainian parliament . The election is in October. So who knows if a Haye fight will happen. Tonight, boxing wise, could be it for Vitali.

HBO are showing the fight on tape delay. Also, before the fight HBO are showing the documentary Klitschko. I would urge you to watch it. It's great. It's worth watching just for Vitali's story about him and Wlad going to Don King's house after Wlad has won gold at the 1996 Olympics.

Oh, by the way, big win for Andre Ward Saturday night, knocking out Chad Dawson in the 10th in the first defenses of his title since the Super Six. Got a feeling we're just beginning to hear from Ward.
