Its better than Miracle Whip, but that’s not saying much.

Miracle Whip, with a generous helping of lime juice and cilantro, is pretty good for making cole slaw.

Celery seed and good vinegar are key for a cole slaw.

Miracle Whip - it says 'salad dressing' right on the label - has a lot of sugar in it.

    A lot.

Had a club sandwich tonight. Waitress asked if I wanted mayo on it. "I ordered a club sandwich, didn't I?"

Does Olive Oil count as a condiment?

I was going to ask the same about soy sauce.

Need a ruling from the invitation commitee.

Soy sauce is great, but not as versatile.

I would say that soy sauce is a condiment. (Speaking of "childhood misunderstandings," it's only recently that I learned it's not "soya sauce." My family called it that for years.) It's added on top of an already existing, standalone dish to an individual's taste. Condiment.

I was going to say that olive oil is not a condiment, except that I dipped my bread in it at an Italian place the other day, and if that's not a condiment, I don't know what it is, except fucking delicious.

Corn relish is different enough from regular relish to be listed here, I would argue, potentially violently.
