    Waffles with gravy, fine.
    Waffles with mayonnaise, puke.

Sriracha is a condiment without a flavor. It's just "hot." Belmont doesn't have much flavor either.

    Peanut butter on waffles? lol.

This was the greatest waffle ever eaten, Pat's Diner, South Trenton.

    Butter. Maple Syrup. Chocolate.

I've tried the chicken and waffles thing and don't really understand the hubbub.

Not sure waffles is one of those things that should be in combination with savory.

    I understand the history.

It's the combination that doesn't do much for me.

We'll need a ruling from the judges on whether aoli can be considered a separate condiment .... IMO it's just mayo with stuff stirred in.

I think it's just a matter of what folks get used to. Go to a Waffle House and you'll see folks pairing up waffles and that super salty ham they serve.

True, but that's why mayo is an all-star condiment. You can make lots of other condiments from it.
