    He quoted 18:22.
Then you used another verse to say he's trolling.

I quoted the companion verse. Chapter 20 specifies the punishments for the 'abominations' cited in Chapter 18.

Big Buckin' agate_monkey, this guy is not as bright as he thinks he is. His goal is to create an argument, which leads to threads getting locked. Trolling is his thing and he does it quite well.
I thank you for pointing out what I was referring to.

Yeah, Az is a troll. LOL.

Drip never wants to back up his thoughts or opinions.

Ky at least has the guts to work out his thoughts here, and take the hits for his inconsistencies.

Drip has no such courage. He's unwilling to defend, or support his views.

Look, if you want to post something along the lines of "I think homosexual behavior is detestable, and I disagree with it, and homosexuals are deplorable individuals, but live and let live." That's fine. Great.

Once you cite Leviticus, however, you are expressing not just God's Old Testament specification of homosexuality as an 'abomination,' but God's Old Testament specification of a punishment, which is death.

So maybe best to stay away from Leviticus.

You want to argue or debate on a message board? Fine, do so and be merry. I don't feel the need or the desire to do so. I've posted what I wanted to post. You have one of two options. Either like it or not. Either way, it doesn't make a difference.
You seem to have a problem with respecting the opinion of others who differ from you. Perhaps you need to settle down a bit. You might learn something.

I thought cherrypicking was a stretching exercise before PE. I was wrong.

I think some of us prefer to debate people who are willing to defend their positions and opinions.

    You refuse to. It's cowardly.

As for learning something, maybe you might learn something if you actually examined your own beliefs, instead of spouting Bible verses you don't know well, or truly understand.

YF, you are a fraud. First you pawn yourself as being a journalism insider and now a biblical scholar? I have no desire to quote Bible verses to you. I have no desire to argue or debate you. And I'm far from being a coward. Personally, I think you are very foolish and it shows practically with every post.
    Let it go.

Drip, I never held myself out as any kind of journalism insider. You're the only one here who didn't know I was an espresso machine repairman until recently.

I'm also no Biblical scholar. Never pretended to be. But, neither are you. You take a simplistic thought you heard, and parroted it, not understanding at all how your "beliefs" would logically lead to you also believing in homosexuals being put to death.

I realize you are not interested in debating me. You are never willing to debate, explain, or defend your views. You just want them "respected" no matter how illogical, inconsistent, and wrong headed they are.

And, that is precisely why you are cowardly. You are afraid to challenge yourself, let alone debate anyone else. It's a sad, and pathetic way to live, especially for someone, like yourself, who has so much pride.

I don't have to defend my views to you or anyone else along here. And my decision not to is not an admission of fear of challenging myself. I know you may have a lonely life but do stick to fixing espresso machines. I have a feeling you're pretty good at it.

If you don't want to debate or defend your views, what is the purpose of posting on a message board?
