I don't think it is evil but it is fucking gross, ever see Swingers, not the most attractive lot.

YF, from what OH said, it was couples meeting couples. No one cuckolded

  4. THIS ...

A guy I work with and his wife were swingers - til they divroced. Another guy I worked with - a 350 pound sweaty, fat copy desker and his eqaully fat and disgusting brother - went to swingers clubs. Both told me the clientele was anything but bikini models and Greek Adonisis'. Ugh..

And Swingers club conditions, ugh . Disgusting

I also worked with a dude at 84 Lumber who was into threesomes and shit. But he was a single guy with self-esteem issues. Shame too, because he was a pretty cool guy to hang out with. He told me about trolling on-line to be the guy to fuck some guy's wife while he watched.

Not evil and nothing wrong with it - as far as consenting adults are concerned - but not for me. Or the wife.

I'm 1/32nd Chickasaw. Not ashamed of it, but only recently found out by looking at a copy of the family tree.
As family secrets go, it's far from some of the scandals previously mentioned on here, but I guess I could claim it as a way to bolster my resumé. [/crossthread]

I don't know, that old CSI with the swingers, they all looked like supermodels so I figured that was what the scene really looked like. Plus I just saw an SVU rerun with Rose McGowan as one.

My uncle and aunt had a messy divorce when I was really young.
They had two kids and she had full custody. We all thought they moved far away since we hadn't seen them in over 15 years.
Fast forward to about 10 years ago, my grandmother is near the end. My grandfather gets up and announces he'll be back in a few minutes. It seemed like an odd time to leave. He came back five minutes later with the long-lost cousins. It turns out they had been living blocks away from my grandparents the whole time and not even my uncle or grandmother knew.
My grandfather had sworn to his daughter in law he would not tell anyone, including his wife and son and never did until that day.

Anyone who has seen the "key party" scene from The Ice Storm knows that the reality of swinging is a little more fraught than the ideal of it. Tho I bet freqposter knows the minivan keys by feel and makes sure to pick those.

If you watch the documentary "American Swing," about the infamous swingers club Plato's Retreat in NYC, you'll want to wash your eyeballs with soap afterwards.

While she was still in high school, my aunt Shannon started dating my uncle Shawn. But because Shawn is black, she tried to hide the relationship from my grandparents. My mom evidently let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, any my grandparents were none too happy.

They weren't racist by any means, but this was a time when interracial relationships were still -- I guess -- taboo. Especially in Kentucky. They were raised to believe white folks should marry other white people and so forth.

Well, my aunt dropped out of high school her junior or senior year. A few months later, her and Shawn went to the courthouse to get married. Someone called my grandparents and my grandpa showed up ready to stop it. But he got there too late; the judge had already performed the wedding.

My grandpa was furious with Shannon. He told her he had come to his senses and was going to give them his blessing to get married, but they didn't want to wait. I've been told Shannon was pregnant with my cousin Jasmine when they got hitched. My grandparents didn't know that, either. But none of it mattered when Jay was born. My grandpa loved her as he did me, and then my sisters Jessica and Kasey.

He died in August 1998. Before he passed he told me some of his biggest regrets and greatest accomplishments of his life. His worst regret was the way he handled Shannon and Shawn. His proudest accomplishment, obviously, was us three grandkids.

I just wish he was still here. I can only imagine how much he would've spoiled my younger cousin Kristen and Jasmine's son Noah. I miss that old man more and more each day.

I can't think of anything I'd really want to say here. I've actually told a lot of would-be secrets already.
