I would definitely take a flyer on Jones. I think I picked him late in my draft. I think he's going to score some TDs (if that offense can get him close enough.

Yes, as others noted, Olsen is the play, and I'd jump on Witten if you're set on another TE. Trade bait if nothing else.

It's no longer pretending to be a money league. It's usually been a $20 per team league but literally no one ever paid.

We've had worse -- several years ago we needed one more player, so one of the guys got his girlfriend to draft a team. She used a second-round pick on the 49ers third string quarterback. I hadn't even heard of the guy. Apparently she had seen him in a preseason game and thought he looked good.

It was the tight pants! My non-dynasty league had women facing off in the finals last year. And it was not a fluke. They care more than most of the guys, and it's a pretty competitive league for the most part.

    Awesome.
What was the worst draft pick anyone gas ever seen?
We had a guy, probably around 2008ish, who was a big Jets fan. When Favre joined the team he thought they were going to have a big year. So, with the fourth overall pick in a 10-team keeper league (and in a year where we flipped the rosters so a lot of top players were available, no less), he picked ....
    Jericho Cotchery.
We assumed he was kidding. We gave him a chance to take it back.
He was not kidding. He kept Jericho Cotchery.
He did not win the league that year.

Not in football...but in a baseball draft we had a guy take Giambi in the 2nd round...

    JEREMY GIAMBI!

14 team keeper league with the 14th pick. Kept Lacy (2nd), Hilton (6th) and Forsett (16th). No ppr.
    QB - Stafford
    WR - Hilton, Maclin, Parker
    RB - Lacy, Forsett
    TE - Allen
    Flex - Melvin Gordon
Bench - Blue, Dorsett, Floyd, Williams, Sanu
    K - Scobee
    DEF - Baltimore
    IDP - Kuechly

12 team league with fifth pick - ppr
    QB - Wilson
    RB - Lacy, Bolden
    WR - OBJ, Adams
    TE - Olsen
    Flex - Mike Wallace
    Def - Patriots
    K - Crosby
Bench - Eli Manning, Crowell, Colston, Wheaton, J. Brown, Blount

Debating between Crowell or Bolden starting and as you can see, lots of wideouts. Trying to pick up Agholor for Brown on the waiver.
Leaning towards Bolden and maybe Colston in the flex.

I'd put Brown ahead of Wallace. Also, fuck starting a Pats RB. Crowell is a good play if Duke Johnson is limited.

I kept Brown. Will grab Agholor later if I want him. And yes, thought about Crowell as well. I know how frustrating it can be with NE RBs, but anyone on Cleveland scares me. Crowell should be receiving much of the bulk work on Sunday. I also like Wheaton tonight as the No. 2 for Big Ben.

edit: Johnson has been cleared to play. Still might go with Crowell though.

Yeah, the Pats secondary is a huge ?, and Antonio Brown can't catch every pass.

My problem is I'm good at snagging must start studs right off of the bat, but also really, really good at grabbing top second tier wideouts that just flood my bench. All of which will probably produce the same amount with maybe one having a breakout game.

Certainly less stress if you can just trot out a nice starting lineup each week and not have to worry about bench roulette.
