Might be a decent deal. I think he might, IF he gets healthy. That could linger or get re-injured easily. Not sure about Freeman either. I have him in both my leagues, and he's helped me big-time. Is he going to remain the starter?

I'm assuming he's done enough to keep the starting job, but yeah, I wonder about him too. I don't think this dude will give up Julio Jones for Freeman, but I've been kicking the tires around the league to see if anyone is interested in him.

I'd be happy to send out a WR corps of Cobb, Jones and Cooper (with TY Hilton in reserve) each week, with Eddie Lacy and Joe Schmoe in the backfield, if he'd take Freeman.

Freeman has earned at least a platoon. But he needs carries to get going. No way would I trade you Julio for Freeman.

I'm....not optimistic. It's possible we've already seen Peak Tyrod and the Bills passing game is downhill from here. I'm sure there will be a game or two where he takes a bubble screen 80 yards and puts up nice numbers. But I expect those to be the exception. But I'd rather try to trade an RB for Cooper than Watkins. There's got to be other RB-needy teams that'd be willing to part with a better WR than Watkins.

Of course, what the @#$@ do i know?

ADD: Oh, looks like maybe you already have Cooper? :D. Well, point still stands in that I don't trust Watkins and I'd look for someone better.

I don't see Watkins suddenly becoming a consistent play. I suppose you could chalk that up to QB play, but his former teammate is putting up silly numbers in Houston with the worst QB situation in the league.

On a related note, I was not high on Hopkins this year, but I held my nose and took him as my WR2 in one league. Jones was my WR1. It's a PPR league and I'm rolling so far.

Yep, I've got Cooper. My WR3 right now is Hilton, who's not off to a great start, so I'm trying to score someone who is underperforming now, but who has upside and a low cost.

Arians says D. Johnson is going to take a backseat to Chris Johnson and Ellington, so I was trying to unload him before anyone figured that out. Unfortunately, Yahoo posted an update about that yesterday and my opponent saw it, so he declined the deal. Back to shopping.

For the first time in 25 years, I just won a fantasy football matchup on the last play of a game.

I screwed up yesterday in my latest edition of "Running Back Follies."
Watched Jamaal Charles go down live on Red Zone and picked up Knile Davis about 10 minutes later. Last night, someone offered me Davis for Drew Brees straight up and I declined it. I already have Peyton Manning. I needed a starting RB a lot more than a second struggling quarterback.
I go back to the roster and see that Charcandrick West, and not Davis, figures to be the top back in Kansas City now. So I rush back to the wire and managed to get West, but missed a chance to get something viable for the still-useless Davis. And I had to drop Matt Jones to boot (Yahoo would only let me drop a bench player last night).
Oy vey. Maybe I'll get this mess sorted out one week. Or maybe I'll just wind up 1-15.

My top buys in my auction league: Antonio Brown, Dez Bryant, Lamar Miller. Shockingly, I'm 1-4. The Roethlisberger injury was the last straw for this bunch. Brown is doo-doo with Vick under center.

Antonio Gates won me games in two leagues last night.

Good to have you back, Antonio!

Indeed. I was too far behind for him to help me this week, but with him and Gronk I basically have two wide receivers at TE. I also have Charles Clay, who's been doing as good as any WR the past few weeks, so my master plan of having shitty running backs and hoarding tight ends is almost complete.
    MWUHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!

Ouch, that's tough. I tried to pick up West in all three of my leagues, but my waiver priority was in the double digits in all three, so I whiffed completely trying to pick him up. Could have really used him in one league where I've got Doug Martin on a bye.
