Who has two thumbs and is going to lose in large part because he played Lacy and not Stewart?

Barring injury, I don't think there's any reason I wouldn't have made the same call.

Gronk with a big Zero at the half. I'd be doing okay if I started Dalton over Marriota. Big bye week for me though so I figured I'd lose without L. Murray, Gurley and Evans in any event.

I set my team up pretty good in terms of spreading out byes, but Doug Martin's bye has hurt me this week against the best team in my league. We're both 4-1, but he's outscored me by a sizable margin during the first five weeks. This week is no exception.

So, I tried to cut Knile Davis tonight to pick up Josh McCown as a bye week fill-in ... and noticed I couldn't do it because of a pending transaction. Checked it out and saw the guy who offered me Drew Brees for Davis last week either re-submitted the trade or I did something that didn't make the initial rejection go through.
I quickly clicked "accept," and now we play the waiting game ...

It should go through. The other guy made the offer. It's not like you offered and he mistakenly accepted it.

That actually happened to me last year. As I was trying to click reject on my phone, my kid bumped my hand and I hit accept. My opponent was kind enough to tell everyone else to veto the trade).

So Mariotta's hurt, no biggie I've got Dalton. Oh, wait....bye weeks suck.

So I have the Jets defense in two leagues. They lead the NFL in total defense, scoring defense and takeaways per game. This week they face New England.

So I'm debating with myself: Stay with the Jets or add a defense for this week -- Philadelphia (at Carolina), Pittsburgh (at KC) and Washington (vs. Tampa Bay) are out there.

    Any thoughts?

I'd probably stick with the Jets. Don't overthink it. I'm not intrigued by those options.

The Eagles definitely intrigue me. That defense is red hot -- seven takeaways, eight sacks and a TD in the past two games, in which they held opponents to 17 and 7 points. Pittsburgh has scored 10 or more fantasy points in three of its past four games (and nine in the other) and Washington has hit 10 in its past three. Both are playing weak offenses.

That said, you're probably right about overthinking it.

But if Brady lights up the Jets for six TDs and no interceptions, I'm coming after you.

I play defences week to week depending on match ups
