I'm always trying to trade. Sometimes just because I'm bored and want to shake things up. It's annoying how afraid people are to make moves. Especially in non-money leagues.

I'll never understand how people can play any type of fantasy sports without money on the line.

The worst people are the ones who don't even respond to trade offers.

Most games are played without money on the line. Do you play monopoly for money? Scrabble cash games, maybe. I completely understand the competitive aspect and why so many people play, but if you have no money on the line, mix it up and have a little fun. I do agree that not responding to trade offers is the worst.

There is too much involved in fantasy sports to not have something riding on it. Other games you describe do not take months to complete. Even those games are more fun with a little cash or something on the line.

Why wait all season to get paid?

One of the leagues I'm in has weekly prizes for top score.

We have a season- long survivor pool and a weekly picks pool on our league website in my main league. Keeps things interesting if your team sucks.

One guy has Forte (87 points), Martin (72) and Ivory (76) and we start two backs, no flex. Thing is, I don't think he's played Martin once this season, so it's not like he's playing match ups.
The other guy has Beckham (73), Julio Jones (93), James Jones (78) and Travis Benjamin (80). This guy at least plays match ups, but his starting backs are Frank Gore (60) and Jeremy Hill (59), so Freeman would be a huge upgrade. He's told me he'd trade Julio for Freeman, to which I said, "I'm sure you would!"

    Ha!

Well, at least you're getting some response. Good luck.

I'd think pretty hard about swapping Freeman for Julio. It's not a slam dunk on Freeman's side. He could lose carries when Coleman comes back. Unless he gets hurt, Julio is going to eat.
