So in that previous league i mentioned, another kid just offered me Mike Evans and Melvin Gordon for Rivers and Josh Gordon.
This might sound ridiculous, but we're a 4-keeper league. I drafted Gordon playing for 2016.
My keepers for 2016 right now are as stands: Brady, Jordy Nelson, Edelman and Ivory/Gore/Josh Gordon (if he avoided weed/booze).
I love the lottery ticket that Gordon is, but if I add Evans I have:
    QB-Brady
    WR-Edelman
    WR-Diggs
    RB-Ivory
    RB-Gore/Langford
    TE-Eifert
    WR/TE-Evans/LaFell

    Week 1: Cam 13.5 Drew 17.5
    Week 2: Cam 30.4 Drew 13.1
    Week 3: Cam 33.9 Drew 0.0
    Week 4: Cam 20.06 Drew 26.36
Week 5: Cam BYE Drew 18.3
    Week 6: Cam 19.76 Drew 18.66
    Week 7: Cam 12.88 Drew 12.80
    Week 8: Cam 21.02 Drew 59.54

    I didn't include Cam's bye week and I miscounted Week 1. So it was 5 of 7 weeks, not 6 of 7.

And you also counted a week in which Brees didn't play. In weeks they both played Cam outscored Brees, 3-2. Brees missed one week and the Panthers had their bye in Week 5. So entering this week Cam outscored Brees 3 of 5 weeks in which they both played.

That is one thing that happens to me every year. It's one of those inevitable things with fantasy football.

That, along with winning when 8 other teams outscore you, having a week where your team just totally stinks and ends up with 50 points, and having a week where you either win or lose by half a point. All of this usually happens every year.

And Cam scored 33 that week Brees sat. What's your point, dude?

Brees is better. Cam is a better runner, but Brees is a far better passer and would start him over Cam. Cam has never thrown more than 24 TD passes and this year he is very impressive because he doesn't have a No. 1 WR, maybe not even a legit No. 2. But Brees has not thrown less than 33 TDs since 07 and has passed for at least 4900 yds the last 4 years. Cam passed for 4,000 yds as a rookie and not since.

OK. Brees is a better QB. Again, what's your point? At no time did I argue otherwise. In fact, I started Brees every week (despite the fact that he had been outperformed by Newton), precisely because I think he's a better QB and kept waiting for him to break out.

Heading into Week 8, Cam had scored 130.5 points (18.65 per game) compared to 106.75 (15.25 per game) for Brees. And, since Cam had a favorable matchup, I played him. Brees finally broke out this week. Fortunately, it didn't cost me. Hopefully he has a few more games like that in him this season.

Hope so too. I'll take half that production every week. Also could use the same from Cooks.

Not sure how I have stumbled to a 2-6 season, but I am always facing a quandry on who to start and this week is the same as usual. I can start 3 WRs and 2 RBs. The top 3 WRs and top 2 RBs are who I have picked for now. If you see a guy on my bench you think I should start...make your case.

    Edelman
    Cooks
    Mike Evans
    Allen Robinson
    Amari Cooper
    James Jones

    Hillman
    Langford
    Lacy
    Yeldon

We get $100 in our league for waivers. After the Bell injury, Deangelo Williams was available. Now, I have been having a rough year, but have $79 left and figured that a bid of about $25 would be competitive. He went for $51.

We have the same rules, he went for 78 in our league.
