I've gotten screwed on waiver priority quite a bit this season. There was a stretch of three consecutive weeks that I was 11th of 12 and the following two weeks I was 12 of 12. There were two weeks I put in as many as eight waiver claims and didn't get a single player because other guys had higher priority. This week, I'm finally up to fifth and I'm not sure there's anyone worthwhile to pick up.

He's available. Not sure if he's a better option than Marvin Jones, who I'd be dropping, and I doubt I'd play him over Hilton, Cobb, Cooper or Hurns unless he gets red hot. I don't really know anything about him other than that he had a good game this week.

Sitting at 1-7, with half my team on a bye, I'm actually poised to win a dumpster fire game this week. Up 50-48, with each of having two Chargers left to play (Gates and Floyd for me, Woodhead and Gordon for him).
Now I just need to replace Dion Lewis, who was one of my few waiver wire success stories this season. Maybe I just need to start picking up players on teams I hate in real life. They seem to get hurt two weeks later.

There's not much that's worse than losing to teams that don't set their roster. I've done that like three times this season and it succccccks.

I won my league last year.

    My QB is Ryan.

My running backs are Bell and Lacy.

My wideouts, who weren't that great anyway, are Tate, VJackson and Boldin.

    I'm 1-7-1.

I took Lacy in the first round - fifth pick. I traded him last week for Calvin Johnson straight up. Might have been silly because prior he was one of the best RBs on my team. I had an unknown West in KC, Starks, and Blount who I dropped. Made a trade for LeSean McCoy - Eli and Olsen for McCoy and Graham. I felt pretty comfortable with that trade as I had Barnidge as well. I also snagged Langford off of the waivers.

I feel pretty comfortable starting Starks next week. He is clearly the better back right now and McCarthy will feed the hot hand.

Potential starting lineup for this week:
Tyrod Taylor or Russ Wilson. Have not decided.
    West
    McCoy
    ODB
    Calvin Johnson
Barnidge if McCown plays. Jimmy Graham if not
    Langford or Hurns or Starks
    Bailey
    Minnesota

That's some solid wire work picking up West, Starks, Barnidge and Langford. All solid guys. I tried to pick up West and Langford in both my leagues, but was too low on waiver priority. I waited a day too long to go after Barnidge. I was trying to figure out who I was going to drop (I wanted to see the injury report on someone before deciding) and he got picked up the Saturday morning I was planning to get him. Been kicking myself for that one since my TEs have largely been bad.

After trading Carr, I need a backup. Need to decide between Taylor, Mariota, Winston or Flacco.

Thanks. Funny thing is this was the second time I was able to grab West off waivers. I finally feel pretty good about my team. Sitting in second place in a 12-team league. My friend is 8-1 and has the best team and had some lucky drafting.

If McCown isn't playing, I don't feel comfortable with Barnidge. Especially now it seems Wilson is starting to actually take advantage of Graham.

Trailing by 2.3 points going into the Bears last drive in a 1/2 PPR league, Martellus Bennett catches a pass for 10 yards. Down .8 points. He makes a last catch for 4 yards, which had me win the week by 0.1 points. Unreal.

Don't you have Brady? How many bench players does your league allow.

He's had his bye week, I wouldn't waste a roster spot. If he gets hurt one of those guys will be available.
