Took your advice and it worked out. Dalton tallied 24, while Ryan had 17. I currently lead by 3 and my opponent has Amari Cooper still playing and that's it. I've still got Sterling Shepard to go.

I let go of Ryan in the offseason, kept Dalton and picked up Cousins. Fully expected to start Cousins almost every week. It's not turning out that way.

Ryan went undrafted in my league. Thought about picking him up, but stuck with Prescott as my backup (Brees is the starter). Not bad, but I sure would like to have Ryan as trade bait right about now.

    The definition of frustration.

Trailing all day, we finally ride Eddie Lacy to a 1.7-point lead in the first half of last night's game. And he tweaks his ankle.

One guy left in the matchup ... Graham Gano kicking tonight for my opponent. And I don't really think the Panthers are going to be shut out by Tampa Bay.

So I went into Sunday night trailing in one of my leagues but feeling pretty good because I had Aaron Rodgers and my tight end left and my opponent just had Giants kicker Josh Brown. Then Rodgers lays an egg (Two picks at home? What?) and Brown kicks four field goals.

Now I'm headed into Monday night down by 17 with only a TE to play -- obviously a lost cause. I usually follow the MNF game regardless of who's playing, but I've been ultra-busy lately and was working on some stuff instead.

This morning I check my fantasy standings and discover I won. Greg Olsen went off for 181 yards -- 18.1 points -- to pull off a miracle comeback.

    Halle-freaking-lujah!

Olsen has been great this year.

Tied for last in the league I run, but this year I changed the playoff settings. The last two spots will go to the two teams outside the top four in W/L with the most points. Currently I'm fourth in points. Decker going on IR doesn't help. He was a solid No. 3

I am having a crappy week in general, but this might be the all-time dumbest moment of my fantasy sports life.

One of my teams (it's 4-1 and tied for first, BTW) had two tight ends entering this week -- Jordan Reed and Kyle Rudolph. The Vikings are off this week, so Rudolph is out. Yesterday morning as a I did a quick check of my rosters, I saw the note that Reed has been diagnosed with a concussion and is not likely to play Sunday.

So I did a quick scan of the available players and see Hunter Henry, who's been terrific the past couple of weeks, is out there. I quickly snapped him up (dropped Quincy Enunwa, who's been useless anyway) and thanked my good fortune. Because I was so busy, I didn't check who or when the Chargers were playing, figuring I'd come back later to see what's up with Reed and make a decision on a starter then.

By the time I got home from work, the Thursday night game had started, and Henry had already scored a touchdown. Wow, my luck's running great! Then I realized I never put Henry in the lineup -- I didn't realize he was playing the Thursday game and was going to wait and see on Reed.

So now Reed's still on the doubtful side of iffy, Henry and his 14-plus points are sitting on my bench -- and now I need to pick up ANOTHER tight end to play this week (and probably score 2-3 points). Jesse James is available, so i'm thinking of taking him and hoping Ben takes pity on him (and me) with another TD pass.

If it makes you feel better, I'm in a similar boat. I have Reed, so I needed to pick up a backup TE in case he can't go Sunday. I saw Henry available, but then realized he was playing Denver on Thursday. I figured it was a bad matchup and, since he had the TNF game and I wouldn't be able to make a gametime decision on Sunday, I passed on him.

Picked up Charles Clay instead. That fucker better go off or I'm going to be kicking myself.

Rest of the way: Hunter Henry or Kyle Rudolph? .5 PPR.

FWIW, Yahoo! projections give Rudolph a significant advantage. Of course, that's assuming Bradford stays healthy.

Henry's got a more favorable playoff schedule, though:
Rudolph gets @Jax (allows 7th fewest points against TEs), IND (allows 10th most), @GB (allows 9th most) during playoff weeks.
Henry gets @CAR (3rd most), OAK (6th most) and @CLE (the most)

Honestly, if you have to opportunity to own both of them, they might be more valuable than a sixth WR or fourth RB.

My RB situation is ... not good (I have Crowell, Yeldon and Stewart as my three best) so I went shopping for Packers backups this week. I picked up Davis after the trade, and somehow both Jackson and Montgomery were available tonight. Because of roster spots, I could only get one of them, though, so I rolled the dice on Jackson and plugged him into the lineup.
Now it looks like the Packers are determined to run the ball a total of 10 times this whole game.
    Fuck Mike McCarthy.

I'm running back desperate, picked up Don Jackson and started him last night instead of Darren Sproles. Jackson and Jordy got me no points.
Should note Davanate Adams was on my roster until I cut him to pick up Jackson.
