Sidney Moncrief? I mean, I know he was a baller but he's got to be like 60 years old now. Can't imagine you'd have been better off with him in the lineup. ;)

Yeah, what the hell happened with Cooks? NO scored 49 points and he doesn't even catch a pass? WTF?

I started him over Tyrell Williams on one my teams. Needless to say, that didn't turn out so well.

D'oh! Donte, Donte! Hell, I'm not even old enough to have seen Sydney play. No idea how he came into my brain.

Cooks wasn't even targeted. Hopefully that's just an anomaly.

Hill, Chiefs, and Santos did very well for me. Won that game.

Other league I'm up 25'ish with Wendell going tonight and he has Jody and Davante. Going to be close.

    YGBFKM.
Came into Monday night with a 10 point lead and Zach Ertz going against the atrocious Packers defense. My opponent had Devante Adams.
Adams has two TDs in the first half, Ertz hasn't caught a pass, and I'm now down three points. He also picked up eight points with Alex Smith in the last 10 seconds of the fourth quarter in the Chiefs-Broncos game on Sunday. Nut punch city if Ertz doesn't get his ass in gear.

In a beautiful turn of events, Adams has given a 3-8 team the victory over the second-place team in my one league, locking up the top seed for me. I didn't think there was a shot Davante would score the 21 points to earn her the victory.

That's a $200 gain for me and I'm assured of a spot in the semifinals. Meanwhile, as I noted earlier, I'm moving into the top spot in my other league with a pivotal game against the highest-scoring team with a potential first-to-third swing on the line next week. This is why I love fantasy sports.

This 90-minute drive by the Packers is killing me. Held a slim lead all night even with Smallwood not doing anything, but Rodgers decided to throw Jordy a few times. Hoping for a screen or something for Smallwood, but doubt he'll get me the three points I need on this drive. But, luckily points not H2H is the tiebreaker. Could still squeak in pending what happens next week.

Had Ware on my bench, but he would not have given me enough points to win. Sigh

Was in the same boat. Ertz got me three points in one league and I had to settle for a tie. Had Clive Walford, who's done Jack this year, get me 10 points on my bench.

One of my teams -- the one in last place in a 10-team league -- went into the Monday night game trailing the first-place team by 5 1/2 points. I had Caleb Sturgis, opponent had Jordan Matthews. I wound up losing by 0.2 points.

It's been the story of the season. That team is in last, but has more points than the second-place team. In fact, it's fourth in the league in points scored.

But hey, that's how fantasy football go.

This is exactly why I changed the playoff format for the league I run ( I might have already posted about this). Top four out of 12 get into the playoffs based off H2H - tiebreaker for that is points. Last two teams to get in are also based off point totals. Right now I have 7-5 record, but the three teams ahead of me with the same record have more points and a team behind me at 6-6 has more. So, right now I'm out. Makes it more fun I think.

At least I wound up in the "no chance" file with this one. Best I could've done was subbing out Kyle Rudolph for Ertz, but that would've only gotten me another three points. I lost by eight.
Still hurts, though. I'd won six of seven after a bad start and could've pulled into a three-way tie with this guy and one other for fourth place, and clinched a playoff berth. This puts me in sixth, two games behind him and still needing one more win to clinch a playoff berth. All after it looked like it was in the bag.

Finished 5-7 in one of my leagues. Lost two games by less than one point each. Flip those, and I'm the 2 seed in the playoffs. Had the second highest scoring team. Sigh.
