    Yeah yeah yea, I'm an idiot. MH was sending me the final pages to put on photobucket after their 11:45 ET deadline, and I'm not good with timezones. So whatever!!!!

    With an additional 52-page special section wrap. Sucks that on a day when these people are having to process the end of their careers as they know them, they're also having to pull together something like that. Brutal.

    Probably not the time or the place, but AB's comment made me wonder: Were there evergreen files for this? Was there a contingency plan to put out a commemorative section on short notice if the paper's demise was going to happen this quickly?

    I didn't know about it, but yes, there were, as I'm going through the section. I think only a handful knew. As in a "Just in case" situation.

    I hope it's not so much brutal on them, but a chance to reflect, look back, thank their readers and share the night together. Besides, if they miss deadline, who is going to care? Tonight, deadline shouldn't even be an issue. The Rocky is going to be missed.

    Thank you. Our last Regional edition (Western Slope) is gone. Lots to remake to make it shine for final. Sigh. Less than two more hours.
