MS Paint is a no-go. MH is trying to get them in jpegs, but I think he has better things to do with his time.

    Anyone else?

MH has found a jpeg of the sports front, and I've sent him the link. When I get the other two, he will have the links to post.

The commemorative front and the A1 page are amazing, FTR. My kudos to those there.

Oh well. Had a faint hope that it was a referee, or a commentary on MLS' relative standing in the market while also recognizing the existence of the sport.

Still, excellent work by the artist.

A toast to the Rocky Mountain News and the fine folks who made that paper truly special. May you all find comfort in your family, your friends and in the knowledge that you all were a part of something great. The Rocky will not be forgotten. :'(

Commemorative double truck wrapping the paper. It was done in the same type approach on the cover as the very first one.
Speaking of which, the Denver Public Library brought the first copy of the paper into the newsroom today, out of a climate-controlled chamber, for people to see.

I read these stories and memories of Scripps ripping our paper from us in 2005 bubble up deep. How I still had a preview to write -- not because I had too, hell we could have run wire copy. It was written because the kids deserved it.
My bitter cynical heart aches for you at the Rocky. I hope there is a special place in hell for those in charge of Scripps, for Sam Zell, for Dean Singleton, for the fuck at the investment firm who demanded the breakup of KR because 15 percent wasn't enough of a return and helped send all of this industry in a downward spiral. A place so vile Bob Jelenic would find it comfortable
    Good luck to all

    Damn.

I've avoided the photos on the Rocky's site all day. That one made my stomach sink.
