Michael Sweet has been taking more of the leads since Oz Fox's brain surgery. Goddamn, he can play. Almost unfair considering the vocal talent he has, too.

I have pretty “cool” taste in music, or what passed for cool in 2012. Which makes my wife laugh even harder when she hears me playing a Mumford & Sons song right after a Nick Cave song and right before a TV on the Radio song.

It’s so schlocky, but I think hits a chord in my evangelical past part of my mind.

 

My parents bought Gerry Rafferty's follow-up album in 1980 (The Royal Mile) thinking it would be the absolute bomb and it was absolute crap instead.

 

He also wrote a pop hit that was about cannibalism.
