Gotta agree with Flip and Expendable. However, if I were to a ranking system of a sort it'd go a lil like this:

    Stella
    Red Stripe
    PBR
    Miller Lite

    1. Pacifico (I LOVE this beer)
    2. Steinlager Pur (available only in New Zealand)
    3. Labatt's Blue (overheard on my honeymoon by Mrs. Birdscribe... "This is beautiful. Budweiser and Coors are IMPORTS!")
    4. Portland Honey Beer
    5. Pilsner Urquell

What all these have in common is I can drink more than two and not get that full, bloated feeling that I started getting after I turned 35. Plus, all of them just taste good.

Unlike most of the planet, I HATE virtually all Belgian beers. Stella makes me gag and I had this beer, Sezoens, at my college pizza/beer hangout that was so disgusting, I poured it into a planter. The only Belgian beer that hasn't triggered my gag reflex is Duvel.

I miss living in Michigan where Oberon was everywhere. Oberon draft with a slice of orange, holy crap that's good. Nursing a Post Road Pumpkin Ale at the moment. Deee-licious. Props to the Brooklyn beers ... haven't had a bad one. Cheap stuff? The High Life reigns supreme. Plain ole Budweiser ain't bad either. Time for AA?

Obviously spoiled out here. Just about anything from New Belgium works.

Any beer I haven't had before.
But if I'm in a place that has a couple dozen of the regulars I'll go with

    Rogue Dead Guy
    Deschutes Black Butte Porter
    Sam Adams
    Bridgeport IPA
    Alaskan Amber

I'm not a beer snob. I'll crack a PBR or a Coors Light anytime.

However, I love -- flipping love -- a really good beer.

    Favs (in no particular order)
    Eff'n anything Sweetwater makes
    Shiner Bock
    Old Speckled Hen
    Whitbread Pale Ale
Sierra Nevada Summerfest (just started drinking this about a month ago ... highly recommend)
Everything I've had from the Back Forty Beer Co. has been good. I like their Truck Stop Honey over their Naked Pig.
I'm currently drinking a Point Nude Beach Summer Wheat, and it's pretty damn strong.

Here's the odd thing, though. I've been craving the shit out red wine lately. And I've never really been a wine drinker. However, I hate to drink wine by myself b/c I always feel the need to finish a bottle, and the girl I'm dating (first girl ever that's been this way) isn't big on wine. And hates red, which is the only thing I like.

Very few beers don't taste good to me. Two I like that haven't been mentioned here yet are Sapporo from Japan and Singha from Thailand.
