How are the KBS and Canadian Breakfast Stout? Can't get the latter, and the only place that carries the former sells it for like $13 per 12-ounce bottle.

St. Bernardus ABT 12 is my go-to right now. My best friend and her boyfriend turned me onto Belgians fairly recently, with Gulden Draak. I searched out a Belgian to introduce to them, and the beer guy at the beer place in town came up with that. So fucking good.

    Other favorites:

    Southern Tier Pumking
Southern Tier ... well, pretty much all their stouts (Chocolate is best, followed by Mokha, Oat and Jahva, with Creme Brulee a once a year thing).
    Stone Russian Imperial Stout
    Dogfish Head Midas Touch
    Dogfish Head Theobroma
    Oskar Blues Ten Fiddy Stout
Oskar Blues Gordon Ale Double IPA
Terrapin Wake 'n Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout

    I'll think of others

Southern Tier leaves me with an artificial sweetener aftertaste, which is highly off-putting.

I much prefer Founders CBS to KBS. The maple bourbon just mellows out the stout's heavy coffee base taste.

    Tonight, Newcastle is just fine.

Agree on the New Glaus Brewing Company products. I plan on doing a brewery tour there is winter.

So many to choose from...not sure I could narrow it down to just a handful.

When in doubt, I'll take a cold Miller Lite, though.
